Rachelle is a Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist and enjoys working with both mothers and fathers as they transition into parenthood and navigate the pregnancy and postpartum periods. She places a particular emphasis on parenting disabled or medically complex kids, parents that have experienced the NICU/PICU, and parents that are walking through life after birth trauma.

A Sedgwick County native, she has served the community for ten years in several mental health roles, including crisis care, inpatient care, domestic violence services, and outpatient care. Rachelle enjoys working with a wide variety of clients ages 14+, working primarily with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, LGBTQIA+, relationship issues, and traumatic experiences.
inquire about rachelle
“I’m pretty easy going and relaxed, I tend to let the client lead the session. I provide some structure to keep sessions therapeutically focused but no topics are off limits. I am starting training to utilize somatic feedback and deeper trauma work, but I am also mindful that trauma work is effortful and not always plausible every session.”
What do you do for fun?
“I love to reading, gardening, bike riding and doing pottery”

Rachelle Haffa, LCPC, PMH-C

You deserve care that sees the whole picture, not just the surface. We know that factors like race, gender identity, sexuality, socioeconomic status, & disability can shape reproductive experiences in powerful ways. Here you’ll find therapists who recognize those realities & are committed to creating a space where your story is honored without judgment.

At Holding New Therapy, we know reproductive journeys aren’t always what you imagined. Alongside the joy, there can be loss, exhaustion, anxiety, or a sense that everything about your world has shifted overnight.
